buyers remorse part 3, I have a lot to tell you
When I slipped on the gold pointy kitten heels that I had paired with it and opened the door the only thing my mom said was "Wow". It was in a good way though. She said "you look so grown up!".

Then I tried it on with some other heels but I didn't really like them, nor did/do I need more heels (sadly). I looked at how much the dresses were and they were all $10. That would leave $11 for savings or shoes. Shoes were $7 so I would have $4 left but we left and headed to Ross. We went over to the dress section and picked out 6 dresses. My cousin and I found 2 identical camouflage dresses and tried them on. I tried on a weird pink one that was disgusting.

My cousin tried on a silver sparkly dress and I tried on a sparkly long loose red dress. Then I tried on a red dress that had a weird ruffle by my calfs and my cousin tried on a pink glittery lace one and an older lady said "you look beautiful in that dress", when she walked out in it. Then we tried on the camouflage dresses and they were comfortable and stylish. I tried on a red sparkly tight fitting jumpsuit and my cousin tried on a red and gold halter top high low dress. Then, last one for me! I tried on a long black and gold glittery patterned dress that had a nice long cleavage line and it looked good. My cousin tried on black satin dress that she fell in love with and then we checked out some other dresses and discarded the ones that we didn't like. My cousin wound up getting the black satin dress and my mom gifted her the camouflage dress for her birthday. Then I also got the camouflage dress and then while my mom was waiting in line to checkout I rushed over to the shoes.

Since my cousin had already spent her money (the black satin dress was $19.99 plus tax and the camouflage was $11.82 including tax) I looked and looked and found a bunch of cheap shoes but I didn't really like any except for one that was a peach platform for $24 (when I had about $10 left). Then we rushed out when my mom was finished and headed to lunch. We stopped at an Italian delicatessen and changed into our matching dresses. Then when we got a sandwich, ravioli and lasagna and we were ready to hit the road again! When we were driving to the place that we were going to meet my cousins dad to pick her up, I started thinking about how the camouflage dress was not one of my best purchases.

Was it the right thing? Did I like it? I didn't know, but it didn't feel right. Then we started talking about businesses that we could start together and time flew. We arrived to the meeting place and I still felt like I had buyers remorse, woohoo (since I am writing this you can't tell that I am being sarcastic). My cousin showed her dad the dress that she had purchased and he noticed that we were wearing matching camouflage ones (how did he see us if we were wearing camouflage???). Then we said our goodbyes and went home. The story has still not been resolved but I would like to return the dress and get the red one. At this point I don't even know if I want to get the red one. I just don't know, maybe I won't get any of them and I will invest the $21 into stocks or put it in my Roth Ira (still investing it into stocks though). I just never know!

The biggest thing I hope you got out of this was that it's okay to buy things but everyone has different lifestyles and it may feel different when you purchase and item than it does to another person. Some of the best things in life are free but you may convince yourself that you need something because it's the latest trend or it's cute. A way to kind of tell if you really want the item and won't get buyers remorse from it is ask yourself "does this spark joy?" or "A year or 2 from now would I buy this in the store, again?". This blog post was hard to write and all the things that I wrote about really happened (although some of them I wish they had not). I think I have learned from this experience and I will take it into account for other times where I am faced with the possibility to buy something. Be wise with your money...
I went back a couple days later with my Dad and we returned the dress. I did not go back to good will to get the other dress and I have been happier ever since.
