Going to star wars land

We finally got to go to Star Wars Land. Now just a disclaimer!  I have only seen 1 star wars movie and that was The force awakens. I thought it was really good but have not had time to watch the rest. Now we shall begin...

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (In Orlando, Florida) we went to Star Wars land. I walked into the park we took a couple turns and then I saw it. Star Wars Land. First of all the detail on this place is crazy! It looked like you were on a planet from Star Wars! My Mom had made reservations for Oga’s cafe at 12:35 so we had time to go on rides and explore. We went on the “Fly the Millenium Falcon” ride first. We went into the single riders line and it was much faster plus we were put all together and it took ½ as much time! My Dad and I were engineers, my mom and our friend were gunners and there was another couple who were pilots that had gone once before. I was so nervous because I had no idea what an engineer was supposed to do. We got in and the journey began! All I had to do was hit the buttons that lit up green! They had a big screen that made it look like we were flying and a flight simulator in the front. It was a really cool ride, I just wish I would have known what I was going to do. Then we walked around and looked at all the things that they were selling. They had coke and sprite beverages in a cool shape that I am guessing was supposed to look like drinks in the films. Interesting fact: people took the bottles onto planes and everyone freaked out because they looked like bombs or detonators!

Then our friend and I looked at the clothing that they had. Wow, unlike other Disney movies where they make clothes that look like the ones the characters wear but it has the characters face or is made cheaply. The clothes here are amazing. The jacket that Daisy Ridley wears is not cheap in this shop but is made out of the same material from the movie! They also had a shirt/dress that she wear that was a whopping $80 but it was made out of great material and it’s Disney.

After walking around and getting popcorn we headed to Oga’s. We got there a bit early but got in 15 minutes later. Do not be fooled, Oga’s is not a restaurant, it's a bar and has mostly places to stand up. I got the blue milk (the one that Luke has) and it was yummy. It was very sweet and had a cookie balanced on top. As a zero waste I was very happy to see that all their straws are paper! My mom got Jabba Juice and my Dad got  the carbon freeze. They got alcoholic drinks which they claimed to be very tasty.

Oga’s has 2 dishes that have food! The veggie chips with a spicy sauce and a charcuterie plate. We got both and they were very good. The charcuterie plate is not on the menu but your server will tell you or you can ask for it! Here's the veggie chips with spicy sauce:

I had so much fun at star wars land and we have gone a couple more times, I highly recommend going on Rise of the Resistance but you have to get their early with your whole party, but it's SO worth it!
