buyers remorse... the return
I had some buyers remorse a couple months ago. I was having my cousin over for a sleepover and I wanted to satisfy my parents and have fun. I came up with working on the house and then going shopping for an outfit at the end. My thought process was: If you work your butt off and then buy a dress it will mean a lot more because you put your "blood and sweat into it". I had buyers remorse the second we stepped out of the store.

I worked for 3 hours with my cousin on our house (that was under construction) for a sleepover. We made $7 an hour each and worked very hard. After the 3 hours and 2 minutes of listening to Hamilton and doing odd jobs around the house and yard we took our $21 bucks to Goodwill. My plan was that the we would buy an outfit (dress and shoes) that had a theme. We choose old Hollywood red carpet. When we finally found parking at a gas station we ran over to goodwill (literally it was raining) and walked in like to kids in a candy store. When you are an almost 12 year old and an almost 13 year old shopping for dresses and shoes is like shopping in a candy store. The first thing we looked at was the shoes, since both my cousin and I have size 9 shoes we split up to cover more ground and looked for styles the other person would like.

After we had more shoes than we could carry we reported back to the first row of shoes and showed each other our treasures. Then we narrowed it down and looked at the dresses... We looked at the short dresses first but they were not very old Hollywood so we decided to go on to the long dresses. My cousin found many. 8 dresses that she liked and I found 3 but only wound up trying one. She tried on a creme dress that had a sweetheart neckline that fit her perfectly except that I had to help her zip it in the back and I was unsuccessful in doing that. Dress number 2 was long black dress that looked stunning on her but once again she couldn't zip it up. Dress number 3 was a short flowy satin dress that was strapless. Whoo I didn't have to zip this one up. She looked okay in this one but I like the black one better. Dress number 4 was a below the knees black and white dress. The only problem was that the boob area was a little to big so it was a little "droopy" in that area. I don't remember the other dresses but they didn't look as good as the black or creme. Then it was my turn to try my dress on... I was a little worried that the one dress that I had picked out wouldn't fit me because I had small boobs or I was just proportioned wrong. I put it on and it fit perfectly. It was a beautiful red color and also had a sweetheart neckline
Go on to part 3 to see what I did (did I make the right decision?)
