Feelings
Have you ever seen Inside out? It's a Disney movie about a family with a teenager and what happens in their minds. When I first saw it I didn't really get it but now I look back and think about it and it makes a ton of sense. Can you imagine when someone gets mad or remembers something that is a sour but sweet memory? Like for instance when my Dad got mad at me the other day I imagined Anger hitting the red button in his brain and a bunch of sirens going off. Then when I dropped an egg on the floor earlier this morning my "disgust" mood was turned on because it looked well, disgusting! If you think about it like this when bad or good things happen to you it's quite entertaining! Or when you walk into a room for a birthday and you get a little bit of fear because they surprised you and then you get Joy or a mixture of both for a bit. For a sad/happy example, you could be going to your grandpa's funeral and see him in his casket and be sad that he is gone but remember all the good times you had with him. Now that I'm older I understand this movie a lot more since I am having these feelings (well multiple feels, at the same time!). It's hard most of the time but when I have a minute to relax and not have adults constantly saying that I'm acting this way because I am a teenager is nice.

When you see someone passing by in the street and they don't look so happy or they don't look like they have the most amount of money. Don't judge them you never know what could be happening inside their head. Right now I am writing this in an apartment that we are renting for a few months so that we get all the fur babies out of the house (this was several months ago). The reason why we have all of the pets and my mom and I out of the house is so that we can sell the house and go to the next house that we have in Michigan and fix it up. Though it may be a lot of work that our family puts into the house every day, I am still happy. I am not happy because I look on the bright side of things or I imagine what is going on in someones head and have empathy.

I look over at my cat pumpkin who has taught me, empathy and to care for others and that you can love people unconditionally (don't laugh because my cat taught me all of this). She is playing with a gray towel that she is lays on. How can that towel make her so happy, how can she possibly make everything a play toy?? When we got her she had been at a shelter for 7 months because no one wanted her. We got her for free because a lady came in and paid her adoption fee. I am pretty sure that the lady wanted the cat but wasn't in the right living situation or something and knew that someone else would love Pumpkin (moi). If you have an animal or a human that can teach one or 100 things about the good things in life they are worth keeping around. Enjoy life to the fullest. Que sera, sera!
