Friendship
Friendship can mean multiple things to different people, that's why not everyone is friends. Some people share a favorite movie, bond over a certain singer or just like being together. Now there are people that are your friends or one that is your BFF. Friends are the people that you see at work for 8 hours a day and have lunch together with. Best friends are not necessarily the people that you hang out with the most but who you spend the most quality time with.

Sometimes doing the simplest things with your best friends can be 100 times more enjoyable than going out for drinks with a colleague. Ask yourself what makes a best friend better than just a friend? Why do they deserve the extra word "best" in their title? Is it because you spend so much time with them? Because you can be yourself? Maybe it's because you like the same TV show and you watch it together while eating taco bell and you always learn something fun about them while doing it. Even if everyone says your polar opposites that can mean that you are more compatible than other best friends because they're the same (technically everyone is different though) and you guys always want to do something different. Some people have 20+ best friends through their life, some have 2 or just have 1 and cherish the time that they have with them. If you've had 20+ best friends, you have always been changing the things you like, what music you enjoy listening to, what movies you enjoy watching and which ones you bond over with a bestie and just what you like to do in your spare time vs. what other people like to do.

Sometimes if you don't feel comfortable talking about something or doing something with your parents you can do it with your friends. If you want to do something that your friend and parents don't want to do then you have to respect that. Friends can help you through times when you feel lonely and small but sometimes they are the reason why they feel that way. Sometimes friends don't want to be friends with you anymore, that's really hard to figure out and to deal with after you do. When a friend doesn't want to hang out with you anymore it can mean multiple things. One, that you two do not share any common interests. Two, that they moved away (or you did) and they are getting used to their lifestyle and you are not part of their daily routine (just remember they don't see you every single day if you used to go to school together). Three they are still your friend but they just aren't your BEST friend because they want to roam around, they don't want to just hang out with one person. These are 100% situations that have happened to me or I have accidentally done to other people. Friendship is great you just have to find the right person to do it with!
