Goals part II
Everyone has a certain goal in life maybe they don't tell it to anyone or know it. It's a point that you want to be in your life when you say to yourself, I made it. It can be a couple of things or just one that is really big or is meaningful to you. It may be starting your own business, having your first child, getting a raise at your job, getting your first house, having $1,000,000 in your bank account, getting your first luxury vehicle or being a certain place and having certain things with you.
There are millions of different things that people want in life that are pieces of junk or just little dodads to others. My goal is to be sitting with my cat Pumpkin on my lap, eating Dick and Taylor's 72% dark chocolate fig bar while staring down at my 6 pack abs that I have worked ever so hard for, wearing black Jimmy Choo heels and just relaxing. Some may say it's unrealistic and that I am going to far into detail but it's what I want and the more outrageous it is when I get it I will set even more outrageous goal and get them. If you set an outrageous goal and you finish it then you build more self-esteem and confidence that you can do bigger goals that you think are crazier than the previous.
For example, the first big goal that had a timestamp and everything that I did was in 2016. I read 100 200+ page books in 1 year. Then the 1 year later (2017) I wrote 100, 250-word blog posts! Then the next year (2018) I read 4,500,000 words and wrote 100, 500-word blog posts. Last year (2019) I read 3,000,000 words and wrote, edited and posted 100, 500-word blog posts. I started doing more things than then the years before and you can too! When I was 9 I did not think I could read 100 books but here I am 4 years later doing it for the 4th time. My goals have not only made me gain self-confidence that I can do anything that I put my mind to (and get a little bit of a bigger head) and learn to make goals. Now a closer way of getting to your goals is to calculate how much money you need to get there. 1. Dick and Taylor's chocolate bar is $9, Jimmy Choo heels $650, 6 pack, months of hard work and Pumpkin. The total of my goal is $659. Having Jimmy Choo heels is the biggest money suck (if you couldn't already tell) but I have wanted them for 3 years so I am not taking it off the list. If you want to make your goal come true write it down and calculate how much time or money you need to achieve it! If you already think that you are on the top of the world and have everything trying making better habits and spending more time with the people you love.
