My 3 things

What are your 3 things? That is what my dad asks me almost every night. What does that mean? It means what are the 3 things that I am most thankful for that I have done that day. What I am supposed to do after I say my 3 things is go to bed and then think about the 3 things that I am most thankful for. Now, this sometimes happens but rarely, I usually forget! Or I think of all the things that I can do the next day! The great thing about thinking or saying your 3 things out loud is that you feel accomplished in your day. Or if you don't then the next day you can do more things or do a couple of really important ones and feel REALLY accomplished after you think of your 3 things. How do you know what will make you really feel accomplished at the end of the day and feel a little exhausted?

 Think of the things that you REALLY don't want to do. I didn't say that it would be easy but you will definitely feel accomplished at the end of the day or week! You could go around your house or apartment (or whatever your living situation is) and pick up and clean a bit. You can run all your errands and listen to some fun music to make it more enjoyable and get everything done. Or if you have already run all your errands you can go through your daily routine and think of all the things that you can do. For instance, if you want to hit the gym and you get into your car and it's a mess, take a couple of reusable bags and some bins to organize your car. If your first thought is "Oh, I don't have time!" you do! You have time to go to the gym so the faster you clean the longer you have at the gym  (the longer you take the less time you have to workout...). What are some things that you don't like to do? Look at your taxes workout? Those are the most common things I hear adults complain about (who am I kidding I don't know I'm not an adult!). Prove to me that you are not a regular adult or child and love doing the things that other people hate doing! Even if you don't LOVE it then learn and look for the fun things in the situation or "thing". Now, this is only a couple ways/tips of how you can feel accomplished in life, make the most of it, be thankful and be in a good mood all the time (well maybe not all the time but that would be pretty cool).
