How does it get into your genes? From your ancestors teaching themselves or being taught to do difficult things that humans at their age think of as impossible for their doing. You may have to start that gene in your family. So a child who has had the good fortune of digesting this amazing jelly asks for an apprenticeship from the woman making them from her home. The woman thinks it's a hilarious idea but the child convinces her to teach them how to create more. How do you think this was done? What was the women's incentives for sharing her recipe that everyone wanted with a child that might not be trustworthy? The women started teaching the child how to make the beans. In the first batch, the golden speckles were placed in to early and melted into the mix making it have a marbled effect. This batch of purple beans were not usable and were disposed of outside. The child tried again and put the gold speckles in at the right time. The beans turned out perfect! They needed to be cooled in liquid nitrogen until they reached the desired temperature of -196.

This cooling and heating technique is what makes the jelly beans taste like anything. As the women is teaching the child the tricks of the magical thing, fake purple jelly beans with gold speckles are being made. People are producing white beans and leaving them uncovered in an area where they keep different kinds of food. This is causing the beans to pick up many scents and tastes. After the bean has accumulated the taste they're dipped in the distinct purpleness. The process is almost complete. The last step is to paint the beans with miniscule specks of gold. The fake beans are released to the public and are purchased quickly because of how low the price is. The beans don’t taste anything like the real ones. Why is this? People are furious and demand their currency back to the fake bean makers. They do not get reimbursed because they have consumed the beans and they did not specify that they were to be like the real purple jelly beans with golden speckles. The secret ingredient is having someone who is young do it for their whole life and be in the same area that they were first produced. Many years have passed and the woman grows old and is not able to make the magical beans anymore. A couple of weeks later she is deceased. The child is no longer a child but an adult. They take over making the beans. Twice as much beans are demanded but can only be made by one.

A child a couple cities away hears that the adult is having trouble making all the orders. People are panicking that they will not get their daily supply of beans but can not find any other producers that make the jelly beans they way the Adult does. The child goes to the Adults city and asks if they can learn how to make the beans and help the Adult. The Adult agrees, the child reminds them of how they felt when the women said yes. The Adult shows the child how to make the beans, the child is amazed. The child makes the beans perfectly but drops the whole batch whilst putting them in the cooler. The child is very sad and doesn't try to make a batch of beans for a week. The Adult finds it harder and harder to make so many beans and people are wanting more. The child musters up the courage to make another batch and it turns out perfectly and is delivered to the consumer. The child turns into a teenager and makes fewer and fewer beans. It becomes less important to the teenager, other things mean so much more.
