Teaching
You may think that a 12-year-old can't teach someone and be good at it. You only think like that because a 12-year-old hasn't had nearly as much time to be an expert or very good in something as a 35-year-old would be. But if you start young (younger than 12!) and do it every week you get pretty good at the "thing". The thing can be anything from being elite math to being a master slime maker (Neither one I have mastered, yet).

Being good at something does not mean that you will be able to teach it to others. So when I got dropped off at martial arts early I decided to help in the class that was before mine. I helped hold the paddles so that the white belts could kick and most importantly showed them how to kick. After that class, my master (there is a reason they are called masters!) told me that I did really good with the little kids. And every since I have been co-teaching the martial arts classes. Now that was a 6 months ago so it hasn't been years but I definitely have a lot more experience than I did in the beginning. It's not as easy as it looks, I would come to class 3 times a week and my teacher made it look effortless. He had/has been doing it for A LOT longer than I have and knows what to say when a 5-year-old comes up to you and says "my stomach hurts". I may be experienced in the art but not running the class or knowing what to do when a kid says their stomach hurts.

When you are the student you have a routine of what you normally do on a Monday class. When you're the teacher you have to say something that makes sense to the student. They may have it in their head what they have to do but you have to say it and be on top of everything. The biggest problem with teaching a martial arts class is when we go on the bags to kick. I used to have so much trouble saying "right leg back round-house kick".
But the reason why I love teaching is because I get to pass down what I have learned to someone else. My favorite thing to do is walk into the studio and get ready to teach. All the kids come in and I see little girls and they think that it is a fun thing that they do after school but it gets them ready for life. Not only do we teach self defense but how to say no and anxiety. If you go to a martial arts studio to start taking classes you may be intimidated but in a couple weeks you will become part of the family.

If you are good at something and you like to work with people, I would highly recommend teaching because it's like seeing a younger you go through life all over again.
