yoga, written when I was 12
Yoga isn't for everyone. Nor is waking up at 6 am every day and doing it. But if you go to sleep earlier than 21:30 you can get a good amount of sleep and wake up at 6 am every single day. Going to sleep at 21:30 means having dreams and laying in your bed with your eyes closed. NOT laying in bed eating leftover mashed potatoes from Christmas dinner that your mom made for Christmas and binge-watching season 7 of Game of Thrones. Then when you get up the next day you can maybe brush your teeth and eat breakfast do yoga and then check your phone. I've actually never done that so if you can, you would give me inspiration!

Then the next step is to do yoga! Now you can do this on your phone, projector, computer, tablet or even think for 5 minutes about what you think is yoga and do a bunch of fun poses and become relaxed at the same time! If you decided to use youtube for yoga here is a suggestion. Yoga with Adriene, this is the only yoga I've tried and it's amazing! Adriene has done yoga for more than 8 years! She has a very soothing voice that is incredibly relaxing with a little hint of humor. If you are a dog lover these are the yoga videos for you! In almost every video she has her sweet dog Benji, if you have a dog she says at least twice in her 50+ videos to do Yoga with your dogs. While she is doing yoga she says funny things like "move your dog's paws off your mat" and Benji is always their sleeping peacefully or watching Adriene trying to do the human version of downward dog.

I just got a Yoga mat for Christmas but did yoga for 2 months to make sure that I liked it. So if you think that you will really be into yoga and do it every day, try it a couple times first to see if you like it and if it's not for you, then, what the hay, there are millions of other things you can do in life that will make you active or relaxed. There was a time when I didn't do yoga for 3 days and I felt like I was missing something. That was only a week after I had started doing it! I was really surprised that something that I had never done in my life could make such a huge impact on how I functioned. When one of my friends came over (she hates exercising) and we did yoga on to really thin mattresses and she absolutely loved it! She had never done yoga and does it almost every weekend now! The best part about yoga is that you can do it with 100 people, with a friend or by yourself. Yoga is about finding out what's right for you and finding out how to do it every day so you can I have a day that goes right!
