Dressing up for Halloween and actually trying to look EXACTLY like the character.
Have you ever dressed up as a superhero or a character for Halloween? If you have you know that if you want it to look like there character you have to put a lot of detail into it because you don't look anything like the character and you have to cover yourself in green face paint because you just weren't born with green skin like Gamora.

Imagine if there was a girl who looked like you who had blonde or brown hair and was unique but not because she could cut people in half with laser beams that came out of her eyes but that she was weird and funny. That sounds like a TON of girls I know. They all want to be the cool girl (the superhero) when really they are the cool weird girl. What they don't know is that the cool girl is insecure and doesn't feel so cool but the weird girl dreams of feels and looks like the cool girl. You find an outfit on Pinterest or Amazon that looks EXACTLY like the whole outfit that you want! Shoes that look exactly like the characters and everything! You click on the link and either it says error 404 or it pulls the site up and it costs a body and it's only for the arm and leg armour (see what a did there, instead of an arm and a leg for it costs a body, bwahaha). So you think for a moment, could I actually get this with all the money (or part of) the money I have saved up? Then you really start to seriously consider it and then you ask your parents (if you are not owned by your parents then you can skip this sentence) and they will probably say no :(.

So then you think, can I make this costume with the materials that I have? But you don't have it so you can go to your local thrift store and hope that they don't have all senior clothing (well if you are looking to be a grandma or something of that style or genre) and something that is so weird that it works! I found several things at Goodwill's that work PERFECTLY for this kind of stuff. Also if you're not looking for anything, in particular, it's fun to look at things and try them on if you have a full day to spend having fun (or if you don't like trying on clothes then not a fun day! (yeah!). Then if you are not successful in finding anything you might think I could wear what I usually wear and if someone asks what I am I could say this is a clone of (whatever your name is). Or you could make a whole superhero series about yourself and make it so popular and or well known that every person whats to be you for Halloween and you don't have to spend any effort on what the costume looks like because it is you that you are trying to replicate and you slay being you!
