Watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Will I really enjoy watching Sabrina the teenage witch as part of my reward or did I do it as a guilty pleasure? Could I be spending my life watching more than TV when I want to have fun and relax?
I finished my reading for the day and decided to watch some Sabrina, my Dad walked in to see me watching it and thought that I wasn’t done reading. I messaged him that I was about 30 minutes away from finishing but he didn’t look at the text. He unplugged the TV and took the remote away. I couldn’t watch Sabrina until I finished 350 lessons of math, 100 blog posts and read 3 million words. I am almost done with all of them! As I am writing this I only have 5 blog posts left! Once I finish this one I will only have 4! Yay! Every time I don’t want to do a blog I just remind myself of what it’s gonna be like chilling with my cat and watching this show. I have already watched all the seasons of Sabrina once and I am watching it all again. I’m almost on season 3 but have forgotten what most of the episodes are about. I am not fantasizing over something that is not going to be real as my reward because I have seen it. I know what it’s like to watch this show and Pumpkin (my cat) is also obsessed with watching it.
It’s like a mother, daughter bonding experience! Like I said, I use Sabrina as a relaxer. I get into something comfortable lie in bed and watch 4 episodes. I can never just watch one. I have tried SO many times. Even if I am on a time limit to do something I watch it while I do the “thing”. It’s not a great way to get something done efficiently, but it’s fun. I have been doing cold turkey for almost 2 weeks and it has been very hard, but I will get through it. I am trying to write 5 blog posts today, I will be so happy when the day is over. Why is TV so addicting!? I find it a way to go into someone's life (depending on the show). Sabrina the teenage witch is made up, but she doesn’t have a glamorous lifestyle, she's just a teenager that finds out she has magical powers. She goes through her teenage years while having to study for her witches license and study for school in the mortal realm. I look forward to watching it SO much and if you've watched it let me know what you thought of the show! Ok, here is what happened when I finished… I got all the blogs done around 6pm. I made tortillas and a cake so it took longer to do them. Once I was done I was informed that I could only watch till 10pm or I could wait till the next day and watch it all day until 10pm. I decided to wait and it all turned out for the best. I did have a headache after watching many hours of TV though but my dad made sausage rolls so it was all worth it.
