10 videos you should watch
I have had several videos that i've wanted to watch but I was busy! I saved them to watch later and got to them this week. Here we go!
1. Qveen Herby - Vitamins
I found this song a couple weeks ago and I have been playing her songs non stop! She is AWESOME. This is about self care and the best part is the 38th second when she puts her holy flow on the girls it's the funniest part!
2. Raising Hell
This is a new music video by Kesha. If you don’t like explicit songs, listen to the clean version here. I love this song so much! To see what Kesha has gone through and then to see her happy again made me, well, happy!
3. 1950s Teenagers Discuss What Makes a Girl Popular
Remember the cool girl in your school? Well this is what it was like in the 50’s! It shows a group talking and then the “cool” girl coming to ask to sit with them (they think she is quirky and say no). Then a new girl comes by and they ask her to sit with them. I thought it was interesting.
4. You Need to Calm Down Sign Language
Do not watch this song if you don’t like good vibes! It’s a girl signing to “You Need To Calm Down” by Taylor swift. The way she signs is amazing and her facial expressions are great!
5. What If You Made A Song With Only Trees?
Another song… This song is made only from trees! Crunching on leaves, rubbing them together, etc! This video was made to support 20,000,000 trees being planted. If you donate $1 they plant a tree! The last time I watched this video they had raised $2,814,916! I also recommend watching their other videos, they have lots of science parodies of pop songs!
6. Anne-Marie - Dangerous Woman
Yet another song! This a cover of Ariana Grande's “Dangerous Woman” by Anne-Marie (one of my favorite singers). In the comments one person jokes “I heard Ariana covered this song”. That is how good she is. No hate to Ariana but Anne-Marie does a pretty good job on this song. Please excuse the bad cinematography of the video, like when the cameraman zooms in on her hands randomly.
7. Guess my Sexual Orientation
This video is about people guessing other people's sexual orientation. One person guesses just by how they dress and what vibe they are getting from them. Cut (the channel) also does other videos like this. Such as match the dog to their owner.
8.Our House Is On Fire
This video was posted by Billie Eilish. It's about how the earth is dying and what we can do to save it.
9. NF - When I Grow Up
I actually wrote a blog post on this, here is the article
I wrote this before I heard this song. This is a rap song about growing up and the dreams that you have as a kid and what you get. For example instead of riding a Lamborghini in the video he rides a garbage truck. Plus this song has NO curse words, so there is no excuse for you not to watch it (even if you don’t like rap this song is something else).
10. This Zero Waste Vending Machine Should Be Everywhere
This video is about zero waste, duh. There is only one video about zero waste in this list (so 10% of the list) and it is about a vending machine. Usually you get snacks and unhealthy things on the go but this is a vending machine with yummy salads. I found this video after we saw the vending machine in an airport.
