More Sustainable Items Stores Are Selling

I did a blog post about this a couple weeks ago, here. I really enjoyed doing it and so I'm doing it again! Hope you like it.

1. Winn Dixie
Just for fun I walked through the instant macaroni and cheese aisle to see if they had some vegan mac n' cheese and they did! It was a kids pasta but it still came was the pasta and the "cheese" powder. All you need is vegan butter and almond milk. It's expensive but it's a good start. If you want to learn how to make some vegan mac n' cheese, Merle from Goodful did a great video here!

2. Walmart
I was really surprised to see this one! They had sustainable pop sockets, phone holders and card holders that stick onto your phone. The pop sockets were $4.98 which are cheaper than regular no-environmentally friendly ones!

3. Target
I saw the bamboo top and immediately came over. I googled it and the top is compostable and the bottles are made out recycled plastic that can be recycled ;). This company is so much more than a body care brand. They're cruelty free, vegan and for every product purchased, they donate a fresh bar of soap to a person in need! Everyone who uses these products says that it makes their skin feel super soft! You can read more about this company here!

4. Walmart
We were going for a very long vacation, starting a couple weeks ago but we cancelled it because a large part was in China. For the trip I wanted to get a different shampoo and conditioner bar. There was nothing wrong with the one that I was using. I was just running out and Lush products are a bit expensive. For example this shampoo bar from Walmart is $3.97 and the  shampoo and conditioner I got from Lush was $24! I have been using this for a month and it's great, I still have a little bit of conditioner left so that's not a problem. The problem with this product is it comes in plastic box and it's covered with saran wrap to keep it fresh. The good thing is it's good for up to 50 washes and it comes with a traveling tin, but if you use this shampoo bar brand every time you get a shampoo bar you get a metal tin.

5. Target
We were walking out of target and my mom found a paper packaged 2 in 1 bar for hair! The next time I need shampoo and conditioner, I am going to try this one. It's $4.99, so cheap! It's by a sustainable brand that has many goals to be even more sustainable by the end of 2020, you can read more about that here. They are vegan, cruelty-free, sulphate free, paraben free, dye free and phthalate free.

This is the ingredients for their Love Beauty and Planet delightful detox charcoal shampoo scrub. And a random thing, if you want to hear a funny song about shopping at Target, click here!

Thank you for getting to the end of the post. Just know that you're not the only one trying to make the world a better place.
